Writing and editing are different things. When we write we focus on topic, listen other's feedback and keep revisions of what we changed. Draft is the tool that helps you to achieve all of these. It has simple interface and all the formatting is carried by marking, like typing # in front of a line for first heading. You can share your document with friends for reviews or for team writing. Each editor of the document works on a copy of the shared document. The owner of the document see changes of each author and decided whether to accept it one by or all at once. This approach is different than other online word processors. Original document remains intact and if owner does not allow no changes can be merged. This gives broader version control. Also each writing session is kept as a version of the document and changes can be tracked. Draft also have many file export options as text, Word, PDF, HTMl, epub, and Kindle. Your export, except text, will look like as a good Word document not an ugly text as seen on screen.
Here is how to sign up easily for Draft
Ckick on TRY DRAFT button. A sign up page will appear asking few details:
EMAIL: Write your email address. PASSWORD: Please specify a password for Draft login. You can create a safe password from this link. Please note that there is no confirm password entry so, please be careful when you enter your password. Press SIGN UP button to complete the process.
You can now set up your personal details by clicking SETTINGS link from the top-left corner of the screen.
Click on YOUR INFO link from left.
EMAIL: Your email address, used in the login form, displayed here. If you wish to change email address you can select a new email address.
YOUR FIRS NAME: Fill the field with your first name.
LAST NAME: Fill the form with your last name
TIMEZONE: Select the time zone where you live.
PASSWORD: You can change the password from this field.
When you filled desired fileds of the form just click on the UPDATE button.
