This is the place that anyone can share their thoughts for everyone. Medium is a new blogging service found by the creators of Blogger and Twitter,  Evan Williams and Biz Stone. It has a simple and flat design. It is a simple blogging service optimized for authors, or subscribers. The Medium does not enforce it's user for their  posts length, or other restrictions.

Blogger is a free blog service offered by Google. It is very easy to use and well integrated with Google's other services. It was founded by Pyra Labs in 1999, which was acquired by Google in 2003.  After the acquisition, all of the blogger services become freely available. Later revisions of the service enabled embedding Youtube videos, Picasa photos,  Google+ and hangouts integration within the posts. Any blogs on the site, if the owner allows, can be edited by multiple persons. It is very easy to create a post with Blogger's builtin rich text editor.

Google+ is founded in 2011 as Circles than renamed to Google+.  Initially it was an invitation only service. After it has gained attention of masses,  Google removed this  restriction. Main difference from the other social services is  Google's circle approach. Circles is a way to map friends to groups, like family, friends, work, etc., without limiting one to take part in more than one group. A friend may be both in work, and friend etc.  You can create a post that is only visible to people listed on family circle. Also you can fine grain this visibility on person basis.

Foursquare is a social networking website that was launched in 2009. Since Foursquare was developed for mobile devices, registered users can take advantage of its features whenever they want. Foursquare helps you find the most popular places nearby to go with your friends. You can also learn what others talk about the suggested places.

Flickr is a social networking site that was launched by Ludicorp in 2004, and owned by Yahoo! In 2005.   Flickr became very popular over the years among people who enjoy taking photos and sharing them with others.  The site has been growing in popularity, and members since its launch. Users of Flickr can share and embed photographs. In order to access photos and videos from Flickr, visitors don’t have to create an account. An active account is required only if users want to upload photos and contact other Flickr users.
